Our Feline Bodywork Certification Course is designed for practitioners who want to confidently and safely add cats to their existing animal bodywork practice.
Cats require a thoughtful, gentle, and highly respectful approach. Their anatomy, behavior, sensitivity, and communication style are very different from dogs and horses, which means bodywork sessions must be adapted to meet their unique needs. This course helps practitioners understand how to work with cats in a way that supports comfort, trust, and whole-body wellness.
Throughout the course, students will explore a variety of feline bodywork techniques, including massage, kinesiology taping, craniosacral therapy, and additional supportive modalities. Students will learn how to assess the cat’s body, recognize areas of tension or imbalance, read subtle body language, adjust pressure and session pacing, and create a calm environment that allows the cat to feel safe and in control.
This certification course is ideal for animal massage therapists, bodyworkers, holistic practitioners, veterinary professionals, rehabilitation providers, Reiki practitioners, groomers, and experienced animal wellness professionals who are ready to expand their services to include feline clients.
By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in feline bodywork and the confidence to integrate cats into their practice using gentle, ethical, and effective techniques tailored specifically to the feline body and nervous system.
